Max Students: 1 or 2 students during blocks 1-3. 20 students during blocks 4 and 8. 4 students during blocks 7, 9, and 10. No students accepted for block 5.

Description: This elective is designed primarily for students choosing residencies in general surgery, surgical speciaties, or orthopedics. Orthopedic and general surgical dissections will run concurrently. Students will be expected to follow a specific curriculum. Students will be encouraged to attend the operating room, radiology therapy suite, and autopsy room for immediate clinical correlation with their selected topics. Requires pre-approval of faculty. NO VISITING STUDENTS.
