Description: The elective will be devoted to all aspects of clinical nephrology.  Students will have daily contact with fellows, residents, and the attending nephrologist on both the clinical, consult and chronic dialysis/transplant services of the Division.  They will have the opportunity to see a broad spectrum of acute and chronic renal disease focused primarily on the inpatient consultation service. All parts of the elective are integrated with the formal teaching aspects of the Division including the clinical conference and Nephrology Grand Rounds.
