Description: The Department of Pathology offers a one month comprehensive elective in general clinical pathology. This rotation is meant to introduce the student to the operation of a busy Pathology Department. The student will obtain an overview of the various subdivisions of pathology and observe the practices of surgical pathology, autopsy dissection, hematopathology, transfusion medicine and cytopathology. Goals and objectives will be provided. A short written report is required.
