- 3 Required Essays (1 optional essay)
- 1 Letter of Recommendation
- 1 Evaluation From (Completed by Recommender)
- Official/Unofficial Transcript
The GPA Requirement for applicants is a cumulative 2.5.
How many students will be selected for the program?
Six students will be selected as ARCHES Fellows.

Timeline for Admittance
- Applications Due - Sunday, March 19, 2017 5:00 p.m.
- Selected Applicants notified of Zoom Interviews - Week of March 31st
- Applicants notified of being selected as ARCHES Fellows - April 14, 2017
Should I apply if my GPA is below a 2.5?
However, if your GPA is below a 2.5, please explain the the Optional Essay the circumstances that have impacted your GPA.
Who should write my Letter of Recommendation?
Letters of recommendation should be written by someone who can speak to your academic, professional, and life performance and experiences. Letters are NOT required from a former or current professor. A letter can be written by a former or current employer, service learning supervisor, or a mentor.
The person writing your letter and completing your evaluation should be able to speak about you as a student, leader, and team player.
What makes an applicant the “ideal” ARCHES Fellow?
We are looking for students who are interested in the healthcare field. An ARCHES Fellow is a student who is committed to lifelong learning, research, teamwork, serving the underserved, and critical thinking.
