Module Goal

In PPC, students will develop basic interviewing skills and understand the importance of good doctor-patient communication.  They will learn about specific factors that influence the doctor-patient relationship including physician self-care and difficult patient encounters. Challenging communication topics including breaking bad news, assessing for violence exposure, and talking about sex will also be addressed. Students will interview hospitalized patients.
