Dramatically reducing medical student debt is a key fundraising priority for the School of Medicine. Gifts to the Medical School Scholarship Fund provide critical financial support for students with demonstrated financial need. 

Named in honor of Dean Emeritus Stephen Ray Mitchell, M.D. (W’86, MBA’13, P’15), this scholarship benefits medical students with demonstrated financial need whose holistic background and experience suggest they are uniquely able to contribute to the diversity of the Georgetown community and the communities they will serve throughout their careers.

Gifts to the School of Medicine Annual Fund support the school’s most pressing and immediate needs.

Gifts to the Medical Dean’s Educational Fund support key initiatives set forth by the Dean for Medical Education at the School of Medicine.
