Clerkship Objectives/Learning Objectives
- Take a neurologic history and recognize the cogent signs and symptoms referable to the nervous system
- Perform a focused neurologic exam
- Generate a differential diagnosis based on one’s history and examination
- Formulate a diagnostic plan based on one’s differential diagnosis
- Understand the therapeutic options for a variety of diagnoses
Required Clinical Experiences:
- Neurologic Physical Examination (while observed by faculty)
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Parkinson’s Disease
- Neuromuscular Disorder
- Epilepsy
- Stroke
