Learning Resources

OSLAA strongly encourages students to utilize all GUSOM faculty resources– course syllabus, learning objectives, powerpoint presentations, self-assessments, and other resources on course canvas sites– as your primary learning resources. The goal of each student is to actively engage faculty resources and didactic learning experiences to master basic science principles that will be essential to your clinical clerkships and ultimately your career as a practicing physician.

The learning materials provided by education resource partners listed on this information page are supplemental resources to your education. We also strongly encourage students to avail themselves of free resources for basic science, clerkships, Step 1, and Step 2 CK through the Dahlgren Memorial Library (DML)

OSLAA does not endorse any specific educational resource partners. The below pages show resources used by GUSOM students and OSLAA welcomes additional resources recommendations. Please keep in mind that the list of resources below is not meant to be all-inclusive and might not be up to date as these resources change frequently.

Please note that educational vendors noted in our email communication and here on our website resource page unfortunately will not offer institutional licenses through DML. Consequently, our DML Leadership is not able to offer these software products through the DML Medical Students Resource Guide.

If you’d like to speak further about which learning resource might be right for you, meet with an OSLAA learning specialist for advice to create an individual learning plan. You can request a learning consultation by following the instructions at this link.
