Broomfield Community Foundation – Jean and Bill Markel Medical Scholarship
– must be a resident of Broomfield, CO
– preference is given to applicants with a strong interest in pediatrics or family medicine

  • Hellenic Medical Society of New York
    – open to CT residents of Hellenic Heritage
    – must have completed the first-year of medical school
  • Swiss Benevolent Society Scholarship
    – must be of of Swiss parentage (either the student or one of the student’s parents must be a Swiss national)
    – must be a permanent resident of CT for at least 2 years
    – must demonstrate academic merit
  • Wellsford and Mildred Clark Scholarship
    – open to students who have been a CT resident for at least five (5) years
    – must be entering the fourth-year of medical school
    – awards are based on financial need and academic merit

  • Delaware Scholarship Incentive Program
    – open to legal residents of DE
    – student must be currently enrolled in an out-of-state school and pursuing a degree that is not offered by the University of Delaware
  • Elsie B. Moore Scholarship
    – open to legal residents of DE
    – must be newly admitted to medical school or be a current first-year medical student
    – must demonstrate financial need

  • Foundation for Seacoast Health
    – open to legal residents of Kittery, Elliot and York, ME
    – awards are based primarily on scholastic aptitude and performance, personal achievements, leadership, and community involvement

  • Berkshire District Medical Society
    – open to legal residents of Berkshire County, MA
    – interest-free loans of up to $5,000 per year
  • Charles River District Medical Society
    – open to legal residents of Needham, Newton, Waltham, Wellesley and Weston, MA
    – must have completed the first-year of medical school
  • Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts
    – The Foundation administers over 130 scholarships and two interest-free educational loans. Students who apply to the program may be eligible for many of these funds. Once a student completes the online application, CFWM will determine all funds for which a student may be eligible
    – must be a legal resident of Western MA as defined by the Foundation
  • Essex South District Medical Society
    – must have at least a five (5) year residency in one of the following communities: Beverly, Danvers, Essex, Gloucester, Hamilton, Ipswich, Lynn, Lynnfield, Manchester, Marblehead, Middleton, Nahant, Peabody, Rockport, Salem, Saugus, Swampscott, Topsfield or Wenham, MA
    – preference will be given to applicants who wish to return and practice medicine in one of the above communities

    – open to legal residents of Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Dunstable, Groton, Lowell, Pepperell, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro or Westford, MA
    – must have completed the first-year of medical school
  • Norfolk District Medical Society
    – must have at least a five (5) year residency in MA
    – must be a member of both the Norfolk District and the MA Medical Societies
    – must have completed the first-year of medical school and apply before completing the third-year of medical school

  • Foundation for Seacoast Health
    – open to legal residents of Portsmouth, Rye, New Castle, Greenland, Newington, or North Hampton, NH
    – awards are based primarily on scholastic aptitude and performance, personal achievements, leadership, and community involvement

    – open to legal residents of NH
    – awards made based upon financial need, academic merit and community service and other experience
