Zoe Haffner

Zoë was born in Oregon but spent the majority of her childhood living all up and down the East Coast. She graduated in 2014 from Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies and with a bachelor’s degree in Human Science. Before matriculating into GUSOM, Zoë spent her time working in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Oregon and spent several months living in Colombia teaching high school English. Zoë is excited to by part of the Peer Dialogue Facilitator team and is particularly looking forward to encouraging discussions around intersectional identities and how our unique stories can contribute to the vibrance of our communities. Zoë enjoys running, hiking, exploring new cities, and is currently learning how to use animation software to create short films.

Elise Snyder

June Futterman

June was born in Nanjing, China and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated Syracuse University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Spanish. After college, she worked at The Institute for Family Health as a Clinical Research Coordinator and as a Care Navigator for Cancer Screenings. While working, she became passionate about the importance of improving health disparities. As a PDF and Chinese adoptee, June is excited about facilitating conversations about intersectionality of identity. She likes to sing, travel, and try new foods!

Catherine Bi

Catherine was born and raised in Southern California. She attended Washington University in St. Louis, double majoring in Psychology and Biology. Before starting medical school, Catherine spent a gap year working as a scribe. She is excited to be a Peer Dialogue Facilitator and is passionate about creating a space outside of the classroom for her peers to engage with topics of diversity and their own personal narratives. In her free time, Catherine likes to draw, cook, and travel.
